Project A.L.S. takes pride in directing 82% of every donated dollar to scientific research. This work is crucial to the search for a cure for ALS. All Move For ALS donations go directly to Project A.L.S., a 501(c)3 registered non-profit organization, and as such are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the law.


We appreciate any and every donation. Join the movement and pledge whatever you can: giving $5 stimulates the stem cell research that will find treatments and a cure for this devastating brain disease – as well as related brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Huntington’s.


There are various ways you can Move For ALS around the world.


1. Make A Donation Online. Click on the Make A Donation button on the right of every page, then follow the secure and easy Paypal instructions. (Be sure to enter your Dollar amount and hit “Update Total” before entering your credit card details.)

3. Sponsor us by the mile. With GPS technology we will track exactly how many miles we accumulate on the road (about 3600 overall.) There are four options to sponsor us by the mile:

1. Sponsor us 10 cents per mile for our first 900 miles ($90 in total) – roughly Seattle to Casper, Wyoming …






2. Sponsor us 10 cents per mile for our first 1800 miles ($180) – roughly Seattle to Des Moines, Iowa …







3. Sponsor us 25 cents per mile for our first 2700 miles ($675) – roughly Seattle to Cleveland, Ohio …







4. Sponsor us 50 cents per mile for the whole trip ($1800) – Seattle to New York! …
